How to Update Flare and Victorem Camera Firmware

How to Update Flare and Victorem Camera Firmware

Prior to beginning the update process, confirm that the camera's power up default is set to factory. The process to update the camera(s) is as follows:

1. With the camera(s) powered, launch the Flare/Victorem Firmware Updater application.
The Firmware Updater application for a Flare camera can be found here: C:\Program Files\IO Industries\Flare\Bin\flare_isp.exe
The Firmware Updater application for a Victorem can be found here: C:\Program Files\IO Industries\Victorem\Bin\victorem_isp.exe
2. Select the firmware that you would like to update to, check the “Update?” box beside each camera to be updated and press "Update Firmware".
The firmware updater will not allow the accidental programming of unsupported firmware.
3. Once completed, a Flare camera will need to be manually rebooted by disconnecting from power while a Victorem camera will reboot automatically. Once rebooted, the cameras should show a different version number for their firmware. Close the firmware updater.
4. After updating, do not load user sets that were saved using a previous version of firmware. User sets will need to be recreated and saved in the new version of the firmware.
