Additional CoaXPress Cameras were Created when CoreView Started
When CoreView starts, the default connection configuration is set to "Automatic". This means that the software will attempt to recognize all cameras that are connected to the DVR. If an extension link on a mutli-link camera is disconnected, the software may revert to a 4x Single configuration and potentially create a new camera associated with that port.
There are two things that should be done to prevent this issue:
1) In the Application Settings menu on the General tab, uncheck "Automatically Scan for Cameras at Startup". This will stop CoreView from attempting to automatically discover new cameras when launched.
2) Set the connection configuration from automatic to the configuration required for your setup. To do this select the System Overview icon then click the tools icon (under the configuration heading). A window will open showing the configuration options. See below. After making a selection the software will prompt you to restart.
