What are the limitations of the Streams 7 trial verison?
The following limitations are found in the Streams 7 trial:
- Limited Sessions: Any time the Streams 7 Trial is launched, this counts as one session. Registration Keys are generated with a limited number of sessions; the default is 10. Once the session limit has been reached, the registration page will be shown again and a new Registration Key must be requested from IO Industries.
- Limited Recordings: A maximum of (2) recordings can be created per session, with each recording limited to either 5 seconds or 150 frames in length. Movies (groups of scenes) are not supported.
- No Exporting: Recorded data cannot be exported to files (ie. JPG, BMP, AVI). It can be reviewed only within the Streams 7 interface.
- No Data Retention: When recordings are made, these are directly written to a file inside the folder where the Streams 7 trial is installed. When the Streams 7 Trial is closed, no recorded data is retained (it cannot be seen when the Streams 7 Trial is run again)
- Video Watermark: A red "DEMO VERSION" overlay is shown atop any video captured with the Streams 7 Trial.
- No Networking: The Streams 7 network control features are disabled in this trial.
- No scripting: The Streams 7 python scripting features are disabled in this trial. The Python reference guide (PDF) is included for reference.
- No SDK: The Streams 7 SDK libraries and code samples are not included in this trial. The SDK reference guide (PDF) is included for reference.
